DermaPlaning immediately rejuvenates the skin by removing the top layer of skin cells and vellus hair from the surface of the face. With this physical/mechanical exfoliation, the therapist will use a specialized blade to gently graze your skin, removing dead skin cells and "peach fuzz." DermaPlaning is extremely safe when performed by a professionally trained skin care specialist utilizing the appropriate tools and practices for the service.
This treatment is highly effective in minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, while leaving skin smooth, supple, and vibrant. It has been utilized in medical practices for over 40 years to prepare the skin for chemical peels and laser treatments. In spas it is often the exfoliation step in anti-aging facials. It is also utilized to prepare skin for light chemical peels, enzymes, Rezenerate nano infusion, light therapy, micro-current and other modalities.
This form of exfoliation smooths the skin and allows for the active ingredients in skincare products and treatments to penetrate deeper which increases their efficacy & anti-aging benefits. It creates the perfect canvas for makeup application and is the go-to treatment to prepare for high profile occasions. Your face should feel softer than ever and look brighter and more youthful.
DermaPlaning is great for dull, dry skin, a sallow complexion, enlarged pores, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. It is an excellent anti-aging treatment for clients of all Fitzpatrick types. It provides both immediate and cumulative results with each facial you receive. Plus, the cumulative results from multiple treatments, especially when combined with other modalities such as chemical peels and corrective home care, will help take years off of your appearance.
